Tirzepatide for Weight Loss in Florida

Medically supervised weight loss, with a clear monthly price and a provider who adjusts your plan as you go.

Tirzepatide is a once-weekly prescription injection for long-term weight management. It acts on two gut hormones, GIP and GLP-1, that control appetite and blood sugar. BHRT Delivered prescribes compounded tirzepatide to eligible Florida adults, online or in person at our Palm Beach County clinic, from $299 per month, with regular check-ins with a Florida-licensed provider.

Who tirzepatide is for

Treatment may be appropriate for adults with:

A body mass index (BMI) of 30 or higher, or

A BMI of 27 or higher plus a weight-related condition such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol, type 2 diabetes or sleep apnea.

It is meant to be used alongside changes to eating and activity.

Who should not take it

Do not take tirzepatide if you:

Have had medullary thyroid cancer, or it runs in your family.

Have Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia syndrome type 2 (MEN 2).

Are pregnant, planning pregnancy or breastfeeding.

Have had a serious allergic reaction to tirzepatide.

Tell your provider if you have had pancreatitis, gallbladder disease, kidney problems or diabetic eye disease, or if you take insulin or a sulfonylurea.

How much weight people lose

In the main clinical trial of Zepbound (SURMOUNT-1), adults without diabetes lost on average 15% to 21% of their body weight over 72 weeks, depending on dose, compared with about 3% on placebo. Results vary, and some people lose less.

Weight usually returns if the medication is stopped. In a follow-up trial, people who switched to placebo regained much of what they had lost within a year.

These trials tested brand-name tirzepatide. Compounded tirzepatide has not been through the same trials.

What we prescribe

We prescribe compounded tirzepatide, prepared by FarmaKeio and EVEXIAS. We do not prescribe brand-name Zepbound. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved.

How treatment works

Free 15-minute phone consultation. We review your weight history, health conditions and medications.

Lab testing. You choose where: at our clinic, at a Quest Diagnostics location near you, or with a mobile phlebotomist who comes to your home or office.

Your plan. A Florida-licensed provider decides whether tirzepatide is appropriate and writes your prescription.

Delivery. Medication ships to your Florida address.

Dose increases. Your provider sets your schedule. A typical plan starts at 2.5 mg once a week and increases in 2.5 mg steps, no faster than every four weeks.

Follow-up. We retest at 90 days and at 6 months, then every 12 months. Your provider is available between tests for side effects or dose questions.

Side effects

The most common side effects are nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, constipation and stomach pain. They are most likely when starting or increasing the dose and usually ease with time.

Less common but serious risks include pancreatitis, gallbladder problems, low blood sugar (mainly with insulin or sulfonylureas), kidney injury from dehydration, and severe stomach problems. Tirzepatide carries a warning about a type of thyroid tumor seen in animal studies; it is not known whether this happens in people.

If you use birth control pills: tirzepatide can make them less effective. Use a backup method for four weeks after starting and after each dose increase.

Tirzepatide or semaglutide?

Both are weekly injections for weight management. In a 2025 head-to-head trial, people on tirzepatide lost about 20% of their body weight over 72 weeks, compared with about 14% on semaglutide. Semaglutide has been in use longer and has trial evidence for lowering heart attack and stroke risk in people with heart disease. Your provider will help you choose. See our semaglutide page.
